The Transport Industry Superannuation Fund (TIS FUND) has been successful with its application for a license from the Australian Pridential Regulatory Authority (APRA). From 1st July 2006 all Superannuation Fund Trustees will be required to hold a license to continue operating - TIS FUND has already been successful

WHAT IS THE TIS FUND?

The Transport Industry Superannuation Fund - or T.I.S. Fund is a retirement savings fund that operates for the benefit of its members and their dependants only. It was set up to assist members to save for retirement and it has to comply with government regulations in the way it operates.As a member of a regulated superannuation fund, you receive the benefits of the special tax treatment available for retirement savings.

The Transport Industry Super Fund was set up with the Employer/Principal contractor of the trucking industry in mind. By keeping paper work to an absolute minimum and keeping the process of administring superannuation simnple and efficient, we are able to pass on these savings in the form of lower fees.
